FAQS
Are HydroPeptide PolyPeptide Collagel Eye patches good for puffiness and dark circles? +

They are designed for exactly that. The cooling hydrogel soothes and reduces the look of puffiness, while caviar extract and vitamin E promote a brighter under-eye area after just one use, according to HydroPeptide. Collagen-supporting peptides work on the look of fine lines at the same time.

Is this the HydroPeptide collagen eye mask? +

Yes. Collagel is HydroPeptide's own name for this hydrogel range, and the patches contain hydrolysed collagen, soluble collagen and atelocollagen. We previously listed them as PolyPeptide Collagen Eye Mask, and in the US the brand sells them as PolyPeptide Collagel+ Eye Mask - it is the same product, sold in the UK as PolyPeptide Collagel Eye.

How many patches are in a box? +

Each box contains eight applications - eight pairs of hydrogel patches, one pair per use.

How long do I leave the patches on? +

HydroPeptide says 10 to 20 minutes. Then remove them and apply an eye cream to seal in the hydration.

How often can I use PolyPeptide Collagel Eye? +

HydroPeptide does not set a frequency on its product page. Many people save them for mornings when eyes look tired or before an event, and they are gentle enough to use whenever you want a boost.

Can I use the patches around my lips? +

Yes. HydroPeptide's expert suggests applying them around the lips for a hydrating, line-lifting effect.

Are PolyPeptide Collagel Eye patches vegan? +

No. They contain collagen and caviar extract. HydroPeptide lists them as cruelty free and free of gluten, sulfates, phthalates and parabens, but not as vegan.

Do I need eye cream afterwards? +

HydroPeptide recommends it: after removing the patches, apply an eye cream to seal in the hydration. Eye Authority is the brand's own peptide eye cream.

Can I use HydroPeptide PolyPeptide Collagel Eye during pregnancy or while breastfeeding? +

They contain no vitamin A, and hydrating eye patches like these are generally considered suitable during pregnancy and breastfeeding. HydroPeptide does not give pregnancy guidance on its product page, so please check the full ingredient list with your midwife or GP before use.
