FAQS
Is Exuviance Daily Resurfacing Peel CA10 good for sensitive skin? +

It can be used by sensitive skin with care. Exuviance notes that sensitive skin may feel a brief tingling and directs it daily as tolerated, so start every other day, patch test first and stop if irritation develops.

Can I really use a peel every day? +

Yes - that is what CA10 is designed for. Exuviance made it a light, one-step daily peel at 10% citric acid, to be used daily as tolerated, rather than a high-strength peel for occasional use.

Do I need to rinse it off? +

No. There is no rinsing and no waiting time: wipe the pad over cleansed skin, massage in any remaining fluid, and apply moisturiser and make-up straight away.

What is the difference between Daily Resurfacing Peel CA10 and Performance Peel AP25? +

Performance Peel AP25 is Exuviance's higher-strength at-home peel for occasional use. Daily Resurfacing Peel CA10 is the gentle daily step the brand recommends between those sessions to keep skin smooth.

Will it make my skin more sensitive to the sun? +

It contains an AHA, and Exuviance carries a sunburn alert: use a sunscreen, wear protective clothing and limit sun exposure while using it and for a week afterwards.

Can I use Exuviance Daily Resurfacing Peel CA10 with retinol? +

With care. Exuviance notes that AHAs can contribute to the sensitive feeling retinol can cause. If you use both, keep the pad to the morning and retinol to the evening, or alternate days, and step back if skin feels sensitive.

How many pads are in a jar? +

Each jar holds 36 pre-soaked pads - just over a month of daily use, or longer if you use it every other day.

Can I apply make-up straight after? +

Yes. Exuviance designed it so moisturiser and make-up can be applied right away, and says it creates the perfect canvas for flawless make-up application.

Can I use Exuviance Daily Resurfacing Peel CA10 during pregnancy or while breastfeeding? +

It contains citric acid (an AHA) and no vitamin A, the ingredient most people are asked to avoid. Exuviance states there are no known safety concerns with using cosmetic products during pregnancy, but recommends that anyone pregnant, breastfeeding or planning a pregnancy seeks advice before using any skincare product. Cosmetic AHAs are generally considered suitable at this time, but please check with your midwife or GP before use.
