FAQS
What is in the iS Clinical Pure Clarity Collection and in what order do I use it? +

Four products: Cleansing Complex (180ml), Active Serum (15ml), Hydra-Cool Serum (15ml) and Eclipse SPF 50+ (100g).

  • Morning: Cleansing Complex, Active Serum, Hydra-Cool Serum, Eclipse SPF 50+
  • Evening: Cleansing Complex, Active Serum, Hydra-Cool Serum

Start Active Serum on alternate evenings if your skin is new to acids, then build to twice daily.

Is iS Clinical Pure Clarity Collection good for blemish-prone skin? +

It is designed for exactly that. iS Clinical describes the kit as minimising the appearance of blemishes, breakouts, enlarged pores and congested skin, with Cleansing Complex and Active Serum both listed for blemish-prone skin. The difference from most blemish kits is Hydra-Cool Serum, which keeps skin hydrated and comfortable while the acids work.

Will Active Serum dry out my skin? +

It is formulated not to. iS Clinical describes Active Serum as leaving skin moist and smooth, and Hydra-Cool Serum is in the kit precisely to replace the hydration that exfoliating routines can cost. If you notice tightness, drop Active Serum to once a day or alternate evenings.

Can I use iS Clinical Pure Clarity Collection with retinol? +

Yes, by alternating. Active Serum is an exfoliating acid step, so use it on different evenings to your retinol rather than layering the two. Cleansing Complex, Hydra-Cool Serum and Eclipse SPF 50+ sit comfortably alongside a vitamin A routine.

Does the Pure Clarity Collection help with post-blemish marks and uneven tone? +

Active Serum is described by iS Clinical as diminishing the appearance of uneven skin tone as well as blemishes, helped by arbutin and mushroom extract in the formula, and Cleansing Complex refines texture. Daily Eclipse SPF 50+ matters just as much, because sun exposure makes post-blemish marks look darker.

Is Eclipse SPF 50+ suitable for oily, blemish-prone skin? +

Yes. iS Clinical lists Eclipse SPF 50+ for normal, dry, oily and combination skin, blemish-prone skin and large or congested pores. It is all-physical (titanium dioxide and zinc oxide), water-resistant and dries to an ultra-sheer, non-greasy matte finish.

How long will the Pure Clarity Collection last? +

Used twice daily: Cleansing Complex (180ml) around two to three months, Active Serum and Hydra-Cool Serum (15ml each) roughly four to six weeks, and Eclipse SPF 50+ (100g) two to three months depending on how generously you apply.

What is the difference between Pure Clarity and Pure Renewal? +

Both share Cleansing Complex, Active Serum and Eclipse SPF 50+. Pure Clarity adds Hydra-Cool Serum for cooling hydration on blemish-prone skin; Pure Renewal adds Youth Complex, a copper-peptide hydrator aimed at fine lines and firmness.

Can I use iS Clinical Pure Clarity Collection during pregnancy or while breastfeeding? +

iS Clinical does not publish specific guidance for this kit. Active Serum contains botanical acids including willow bark, a natural salicylic acid source, and Cleansing Complex lists retinyl palmitate (a vitamin A derivative) low in its ingredients; these are generally considered suitable but please check with your midwife or GP. Hydra-Cool Serum and Eclipse SPF 50+ are vitamin-A-free and generally considered suitable.
