FAQS
Is Medik8 Clarity Peptides good for blemish-prone skin? +

Yes - it is formulated for dull, blemish-prone skin. 10% niacinamide calms visible redness and supports the barrier, zinc PCA helps balance the excess oil that leads to congestion and the Crystalide peptide brightens, so skin looks clearer and more luminous rather than stripped.

How does Clarity Peptides compare with Niacinamide Peptides? +

Both are Medik8 10% niacinamide emulsion serums with the Crystalide peptide, zinc PCA, N-acetyl glucosamine and hyaluronic acid. Niacinamide Peptides is the newer formula, with stated 3% Crystalide and 1% zinc PCA levels and published clinical results on blemishes and pores. Clarity Peptides is the original multi-tasker for clarity, calm and glow; if you love it, there is no need to switch.

Can I use Medik8 Clarity Peptides with Crystal Retinal? +

Yes. In the evening apply Clarity Peptides after cleansing, let it absorb, then Crystal Retinal, then moisturiser. Niacinamide's calming, barrier-supporting nature makes it a comfortable partner for vitamin A.

Do I apply Clarity Peptides before or after C-Tetra Luxe? +

C-Tetra Luxe first. Medik8's rule is that the oil-based serum goes on before the emulsion, so apply C-Tetra Luxe, let it absorb, then Clarity Peptides, then sunscreen.

Can I use Clarity Peptides alongside Liquid Peptides? +

Absolutely. Medik8 recommends applying Liquid Peptides (water-based) first, followed by Clarity Peptides (emulsion-based), then your moisturiser.

Should I use it in the morning or evening? +

Both. Medik8 says Clarity Peptides can be used after cleansing in the morning and evening to support a visibly perfected complexion.

Is 10% niacinamide suitable for sensitive skin? +

Medik8 formulated Clarity Peptides for all skin types, and it is fragrance free, alcohol free and free from vitamin A and exfoliating acids. Niacinamide at this level is generally well tolerated, but patch test first if your skin is reactive.

Why has the pump on the tube stopped working? +

The tube is airless, so it is almost always trapped air rather than an empty or faulty tube. Hold it pointing down, gently squeeze the base like a toothpaste tube and work your hand up while pressing the pump.

Can I use Medik8 Clarity Peptides during pregnancy or while breastfeeding? +

It contains no vitamin A, which is the ingredient most people are asked to avoid. Medik8 does not publish formal pregnancy or breastfeeding guidance: as a cosmetics company it says it cannot advise on medical conditions and asks customers to discuss the full ingredient list with their midwife or GP before use. Its only general note is that the formula contains no ingredients it would recommend avoiding in pregnancy unless your doctor advises otherwise. Please check with your midwife or GP first.
