FAQS
Is HydroPeptide Foaming Cream Cleanser good for dull skin? +

Yes - brightening is its main purpose. Rice powder gently polishes away dulling surface build-up while tranexamic acid and niacinamide work on the look of uneven tone, so skin looks brighter and more radiant from the first wash and progressively more even with continued use.

Can I use this as a daily cleanser for sensitive skin? +

Yes. The foaming base is sulphate-free and ultra-mild, and the formula is designed to cleanse without disturbing the moisture barrier. It does contain a gentle physical exfoliant and a light fragrance, so if your skin is very reactive, start with once-daily use and light pressure.

Does it remove make-up and SPF? +

It removes light make-up, SPF and daily environmental debris well. For heavy or long-wear make-up, use a cleansing balm or oil first and follow with this as your second cleanse.

Is it too exfoliating to use twice a day? +

No. The rice powder is finely milled and designed for daily use morning and evening. If you are also using strong acids or retinoids, you may prefer to use it once a day and a non-exfoliating cleanser at the other time.

What is the difference between this and HydroPeptide Cleansing Gel? +

Cleansing Gel is a lightweight, non-exfoliating gel wash focused on purifying and hydrating. Foaming Cream Cleanser is a richer cream-to-foam texture that adds gentle exfoliation and brightening actives, making it the better choice for dull or uneven-looking skin.

Can I use it before a brightening serum? +

Yes, and it is the ideal pairing. Cleansing with it removes the surface build-up that can stop actives absorbing, so a brightening serum applied afterwards can work more effectively.

Is HydroPeptide Foaming Cream Cleanser vegan and cruelty-free? +

Yes. HydroPeptide states it is cruelty-free and vegan, and free from sulphates, phthalates and parabens.

How long does a 118ml tube last? +

Used twice daily with a small amount per wash, a 118ml tube typically lasts around two to three months.

Is it safe to use during pregnancy and breastfeeding? +

It contains no retinoids, but HydroPeptide does not make a specific statement on use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. We recommend checking with your GP or midwife before introducing any new active skincare.
