FAQS
Is IMAGE Skincare the MAX Eye Crème good for dark circles? +

Dark circles are one of its four targets. IMAGE built it around a dark circle peptide complex featuring palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7 and dipeptide-2, which the brand says helps to diminish the appearance of dark circles, and it is designed to restore a bright appearance to tired eyes.

Is the MAX Eye Crème the same as the old MAX Stem Cell Eye Crème? +

The MAX Eye Crème is the current name for what IMAGE Skincare previously sold as the MAX Stem Cell Eye Crème; the brand refreshed the packaging and simplified the names across the range. Same place in the routine, same 15ml size.

Does the MAX Eye Crème help with puffiness? +

IMAGE describes it as a multi-impact formula that reduces the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, dark circles and puffiness. Patting it on gently with your ring finger, morning and evening, is the brand's recommended method.

Can I use IMAGE Skincare the MAX Eye Crème with retinol? +

Yes. It contains no retinol, so it can be used morning and evening alongside a retinol routine. If you use a retinol eye product at night, apply the MAX Eye Crème in the morning, or layer it over the retinol once that has absorbed.

Can I wear it under make-up and concealer? +

Yes. Pat on a pea-sized amount, give it a minute to absorb, then apply concealer as usual. Its rich but non-greasy texture is one of the reasons customers like it under make-up.

How much should I use and where? +

A pea-sized amount per application, patted onto the area below the eyes, the outer corners and the brow bone. Keep it to the orbital bone and away from the lash line.

What is the difference between the MAX Eye Crème and ILUMA intense brightening eye crème? +

The MAX Eye Crème is the peptide-led, multi-impact option for lines, wrinkles, dark circles and puffiness; ILUMA is IMAGE's brightening specialist. IMAGE suggests layering the MAX Eye Crème under ILUMA when you want extra brightening and dark circle defence.

Is it suitable for sensitive eyes? +

It is formulated for the fragile eye area with soothing aloe, bisabolol and allantoin and no retinol. As with any new eye product, patch test first and keep it away from the lash line.

Can I use IMAGE Skincare the MAX Eye Crème during pregnancy or while breastfeeding? +

It contains no retinol or other vitamin A derivatives, so it is generally considered suitable during pregnancy and breastfeeding. IMAGE Skincare does not make a specific pregnancy claim for this product and recommends checking with your midwife or GP before introducing any new skincare while pregnant or breastfeeding.
