FAQS
Is iS Clinical Moisturizing Complex good for sensitive skin? +

iS Clinical lists it for all skin types and specifically for irritated skin and post-procedure use once skin has re-epithelialised. Japanese green tea and centella-derived soothers calm, while hyaluronic acid and panthenol hydrate. It does contain some denatured alcohol for its light finish, so patch test first if your skin is very reactive.

Can I use iS Clinical Moisturizing Complex morning and evening? +

Yes - iS Clinical designed it for morning or evening use. In the morning follow it with sunscreen; in the evening it is your final step after serums.

Moisturizing Complex, Reparative Moisture Emulsion or Daily Dynamic Hydrator - which should I choose? +

Moisturizing Complex is the classic daily moisturiser with hyaluronic acid and vitamins A, C and E. Reparative Moisture Emulsion is lighter, adds copper tripeptide-1 and Extremozymes and is made to sit under make-up. Daily Dynamic Hydrator is the newest, a medium-weight 3-in-1 with GeneXC Technology, exosomes and two-week clinical data. Simplicity and value point to Moisturizing Complex.

Is it suitable for oily or combination skin? +

Yes. It is a lightweight cream that absorbs without a greasy residue, and iS Clinical lists it for all skin types and all ages. Combination skin usually finds it right year-round; very oily skin may prefer Reparative Moisture Emulsion in summer.

Does Moisturizing Complex contain alcohol or fragrance? +

It contains Alcohol Denat., which helps it absorb quickly, and a light scent from methyldihydrojasmonate and Ormenis multicaulis (Moroccan chamomile) oil; there is no separate parfum listed. It is free from parabens, phthalates and sulphates.

Can I use it with retinol or exfoliating acids? +

Yes. Apply your retinol or acid product first, let it absorb, then smooth Moisturizing Complex on top to cushion the skin. It contains a little retinyl palmitate itself, so introduce new vitamin A products gradually.

Can I use it after a peel or professional procedure? +

iS Clinical lists post-procedure use once the skin has re-epithelialised. Follow your practitioner's advice on timing and keep the rest of your routine simple while skin settles.

How long does 50g last? +

With a pea-sized amount twice a day, a 50g jar typically lasts around two to three months.

Can I use iS Clinical Moisturizing Complex during pregnancy or while breastfeeding? +

It contains retinyl palmitate, a mild vitamin A ester, low down the ingredient list. iS Clinical does not publish pregnancy or breastfeeding guidance for this product, and most clinicians advise avoiding vitamin A in skincare during this time as a precaution, so please check with your midwife or GP first. If you would rather switch, iS Clinical Daily Dynamic Hydrator contains no vitamin A.
