FAQS
How do hyaluronic acid microneedle eye patches work? +

Each patch carries tiny microneedles loaded with PCA Skin's 4-D Hyaluronic Acid, alongside brightening Daisy Flower and Hawkweed extracts and smoothing amino acids with copper. Pressed onto clean, dry skin under the eye and worn for 2-3 hours, they enhance skin hydration for a firmer, plumper-looking eye contour.

Are PCA Skin Hyaluronic Acid Microneedle Eye Patches good for dark circles and puffiness? +

They are designed to visibly improve the appearance of dark circles, puffiness and wrinkles. Daisy Flower and Hawkweed extracts help reduce the look of puffiness and dark circles, and in PCA Skin's case study of 12 subjects using the patches twice a week for 12 weeks, 100% perceived an improvement in the appearance of dark circles.

How long do I leave the patches on? +

Wear them for a minimum of 2-3 hours. Apply to clean, well-dried skin with the microneedles facing down and the narrow end at the inner eye, then press gently around the adhesive edge.

How often should I use them, and how many treatments are in a pack? +

PCA Skin recommends using them 1-2 times per week. The pack contains 4 pairs, which is 4 treatments - around two weeks at twice a week, or a month at once a week.

What results has PCA Skin seen? +

In PCA Skin's own case study of 13 individuals over a 12-week period, there was a 22% reduction in wrinkles in just one treatment. In a separate PCA Skin case study of 12 subjects applying the patches twice a week for 12 weeks, 100% of subjects perceived an improvement in the appearance of dark circles linked to age-related volume loss and thin skin.

What is 4-D Hyaluronic Acid? +

It is PCA Skin's blend of four types of hyaluronic acid, each with unique properties. Together they create a three-dimensional hydration network targeting various skin layers, hydrating the skin from both the outside and within.

When should I avoid using the patches? +

Avoid using them on blemishes, acne, irritated or sunburned skin, and on skin that is sensitive to bandages or tape. No parfum is listed in the full ingredient list, which you can check under Other Ingredients.

Are PCA Skin Hyaluronic Acid Microneedle Eye Patches safe during pregnancy or breastfeeding? +

PCA Skin does not give guidance on use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. The ingredient list does not include retinol, but we always recommend checking with your midwife or GP before starting any new skincare treatment while pregnant or breastfeeding.
