FAQS
Is PCA Skin Ideal Complex Restorative Eye Cream good for dark circles? +

It works on them in two ways. Boron nitride optical diffusers reflect light away from the eye area so dark circles and under-eye bags look brighter immediately, while niacinamide, ash bark extract and silanetriol, plus albizia bark extract and darutoside, work over time to visibly reduce dark circles and puffiness.

What is the difference between the Restorative Eye Cream and the Revitalizing Eye Gel? +

They share the same peptide and orange stem cell complex and target the same five concerns. The Restorative Eye Cream is the creamier, more luxurious texture and adds optical diffusers for instant brightening; the Revitalizing Eye Gel is lighter and silkier, which many oilier skins prefer.

Can I apply the Restorative Eye Cream to my eyelids? +

Yes. PCA Skin's directions are to pat a small amount around the eye area and directly onto the eyelid, twice daily, to help firm and lift.

Can I use PCA Skin Ideal Complex Restorative Eye Cream with retinol? +

Yes. It contains no retinol - its vitamin A-like smoothing comes from a peptide - so it pairs easily with a retinol face serum. Apply your face serums first, then the eye cream.

How quickly will I see results? +

The brightening from the optical diffusers is visible as soon as you apply it. For firmness, lines and puffiness, PCA Skin reports rapid results within a week of twice-daily use; individual results vary.

Is it suitable for sensitive skin? +

The key peptide is chosen to give vitamin A-like benefits without irritation. The formula does contain grapefruit peel oil (limonene appears in the ingredient list), so if your skin reacts to essential oils, patch test before using it around the eyes.

Can I wear it under make-up? +

Yes. Let it settle for a minute after application; the light-reflecting optical diffusers give a brighter base for concealer.

Do I need a separate day and night eye cream? +

No. PCA Skin designed it for morning and evening use, so one tube covers both. Follow with SPF in the daytime and your moisturiser at night.

Can I use PCA Skin Ideal Complex Restorative Eye Cream during pregnancy or while breastfeeding? +

It contains no retinol or other vitamin A. PCA Skin does not publish specific pregnancy or breastfeeding guidance, and peptide eye creams are generally considered suitable, but please check with your midwife or GP before use.
