FAQS
Is Skinade Collagen Drink good for fine lines and dull-looking skin? +

After completing a course, Skinade says customers report a reduced look of fine lines, a more even-looking tone and more hydrated, radiant-looking skin. Vitamin C in the formula contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of the skin. Results vary from person to person, and it works best alongside a good topical routine and daily SPF.

What is the difference between Skinade bottles and travel sachets? +

Only the format. Skinade states both deliver exactly the same nutrients. The bottle is a ready-to-drink 150ml serving; the travel sachet is a 15ml concentrate you stir into half a glass of cold water, small enough to slip into a handbag and well under the 100ml cabin-bag liquid limit.

Which course should I choose - 30, 60 or 90 days? +

Each day of the course is one bottle or sachet, so a 30 day course is 30 servings, 60 days is 60 and 90 days is 90. Skinade says it aims to improve the way skin looks and feels in as little as 30 days, and many people choose 60 or 90 days to keep going. You can buy a course of bottles, a course of sachets, or both.

When is the best time to drink Skinade? +

Skinade recommends one serving each morning with or after breakfast, avoiding caffeine for an hour either side as it can hinder absorption. Taking it after food also minimises the chance of a niacin flush.

Can I take Skinade Collagen Drink alongside retinol and my usual skincare? +

Yes. Skinade works from the inside, so it sits happily alongside any topical routine, including retinol, vitamin C and SPF. If you take any prescribed medicines, Skinade asks you to check with your doctor before starting.

Is Skinade suitable for vegetarians or vegans? +

No. The marine collagen is sourced from fresh-water fish, so Skinade is suitable for pescatarians but not for vegetarians or vegans, and it contains fish as an allergen. It contains no bovine or porcine products.

Does Skinade contain sugar? +

It has no added sugar. Each 150ml bottle contains 35kcal and 1.5g of sugar, which comes naturally from concentrated grape juice, and it is sweetened with sucralose. It is also free from artificial flavours and colours, gluten, dairy and lactose.

Is there anything I might notice when I first start Skinade? +

Skinade says some people notice a mild laxative effect for a day or two at the start, and a very small percentage feel a short-term red flush or tingling from the niacin (vitamin B3) lasting 20 to 60 minutes. This is not an allergic reaction, and drinking it after food or sipping it over the day minimises the effect.

Can I take Skinade Collagen Drink during pregnancy or while breastfeeding? +

Skinade's product safety guidance asks you to seek your doctor's advice before taking Skinade if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. It is formulated for adults over 18. Please speak to your GP or midwife before starting any food supplement at this time.
